Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE: CLF) today announced that it is increasing current spot market base prices for all carbon hot rolled, cold rolled and coated steel products, effective immediately with all new orders. Cliffs’ minimum base price for hot rolled steel is now $840 per net ton.

As communicated previously, steel has risen sharply in the first quarter of 2024. The February 1, 2024 10% price increase was deferred and remains outstanding. Steel arriving today is fully escalated, and Marino\WARE will raise prices 10% on all steel products effective with deliveries on or after March 31, 2024.

Due to rising steel costs, Marino\WARE will raise prices an additional 10% on all steel products, effective with deliveries on or after February 1, 2024. Job quotes will also reflect the 10% escalator on the same day.
