LEED® certification credits are based on the overall execution of the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. A project must earn a minimum number of LEED® credits listed within the guidelines to certify.

Materials & Resources:

Using products manufactured by Marino\WARE® can contribute to LEED® points under the Materials & Resources category. 

• MR Credit 2 Construction Waste Management  (1-2 points)
• MR Credit 4 Recycled Content  (1-2 points)
• MR Credit 5 Regional Materials (1-2 points)

Our line of light gauge and structural framing products and accessories are produced with 100% steel, a readily recyclable product with a high content of recycled material. 

• Total Recycled Content: 34.9% 
• Post-Consumer Recycled Content: 24.3% 
• Pre-Consumer (Post Industrial) Recycled Content: 9.4%
