FAS-093X

FAS-093X is a composite control joint constructed of metal with an integrated intumescent strip that provides fire, smoke, and sound rated solutions in vertical and horizontal control joints.

It is used to relieve expansion and contraction stress within interior drywall partitions requiring vertical or horizontal control joints in gypsum wall.

Can be used in INTERIOR drywall partitions
Has integrated mud legs for attachment and adhesion of joint compounds
Does not require drywall rips, fire sealant, or mineral wool backing within the wall cavity
Provides an aesthetically pleasing reveal with integrated groove
Drywall fasteners through the perforated holes are to be used on both flanges
V-groove is protected removable plastic film
Can be used in metal or wood stud wall assemblies
Installs fully cured, unaffected by water, moisture, or temperature
Paintable
Provides 1 hr and 2 hr fire rating from the same profile
