Environmental Product Declaration
Use at least 20 different permanently installed products sourced from at least 5 different manufacturers.
Environmental Product Declarations which conform to ISO 14025, 14040, 14044, and EN 15804 or ISO 21930 and have at least a cradle to gate scope.
Product Specific Low Embodied Carbon Type III EPD
Marino\WARE has a third-party Low Embodied Carbon certification (Type III), including external verification in which Marino\WARE is recognized as the participant by the program operator and is valued as 1.5 products for the purposes of credit achievement calculation.
Low embodied carbon steel (LEC) must be requested at the time of order.

Assessment Overview
Based on this comparability assessment, the products in question are deemed comparable for the purposes of LEED credit achievement. It is WAP Sustainability’s professional opinion that Low Embodied Carbon Cold-Formed Steel Framing Systems from Marino\WARE meet the following LEED Materials and Resource Credit, Environmental Product Declaration, Option 2 criteria: GWP Reduction 10+% (valued at 1.5 products for LEED v4.1).

To reward project teams for selecting products for which the chemical ingredients in the product are inventoried using an accepted methodology and for selecting products verified to minimize the use and generation of harmful substances. To reward raw material manufacturers who produce products verified to have improved lifecycle impacts.

Recycled Content
Recycled content is the sum of post-consumer recycled content plus one-half the pre-consumer recycled content, based on cost. Products meeting recycled content criteria are valued at 100% of their cost for the purposes of credit achievement calculation. The recycled fraction of the assembly is then multiplied by the cost of the assembly to determine the recycled content value.
